The recent deadly attack on a jogger by a bear in the northern Italian province of Trentino proves the point: Attacks by wild animals on people are increasingly becoming a problem. Good to know that newly-developed and highly-effective protective equipment can be acquired for professional ranger teams as well as for private individuals.
To meet the need for greater safety, PIEXON has supplied the brown bear task force of the State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic with the latest in protective gear. Funded by the specialized Swiss company located in Aarwangen (Canton Bern), this delivery of five highly effective defensive weapons and action cameras reliably and accurately supports the teams in their demanding work in the nature reserves.
This provides gamekeepers not only with the best protective material for their daily use in the field, but also the certainty of PIEXON’s equipment not causing any lasting damage to animals. The irritant unleashed upon shooting is not life-threatening and only irritates the eyes and airways for a limited time. The extract derived from the resin oil of the tabasco plant is also environmentally harmless.
The type JPX-4 defensive weapons, spare magazines, and action cameras supplied free of charge by PIEXON will be used by the Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic team starting in October. In an official letter, the directorate of the State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic expressed its heartfelt thanks for the supply of these potent protective devices. This greatly pleased PIEXON as supplier, and the company looks forward to further cooperation in the interest of the safety of all task forces.
